ode 오드 is a South Korean indie band formed in 2018 in Hongdae, Seoul, by a group of students from the same school. After several lineup changes, the band now  consits of Kim Siin (vocals), Park Seunghyun (guitar), Oh Jekyung (bass) and Joo Youngjun (drums). 

Park Seunghyun serves as the band's primary composer, collaborating with Kim Siin, who also writes the lyrics.

The band name ode, was inspired by the title of the album “Ode To J. Smith” by the British band Travis. 

They aspire to create music that resonates with listeners in a subtle yet profound way - like a passionate, sometimes meditative lyrical poem. Their sound is heavily influenced by British rock and pop rock, blending dreamy and emotional elements. 

On June 3, 2019, ode released their debut EP,  to youth, followed in 2020, by two singles, obsession and escape, along with their second EP, blues.

On January 18, 2022, they released their third EP, colors, a six-track record that was well received by fans. A year later, on January 18, 2023, they released their third single, finale. 

After much anticipation, the band unveiled their fourth album, pieces, on  November 14, 2024. 

On December 14, 2024, ode held their first solo concert marking a significant milestone in their journey.
